Hi guys,
Title says it all... I need some rubber inner tubes for a HBI glue-up I have in the works. PM me what you got. Thanks.

Any bicycle shop will give you all you want. Car tire tubes work too.

how are they used?

Okay Pat I'll call around this weekend... That is if no one has any...

Cutfinger: The way I've used them is to cut the valve off then slit the tube so that you have a long, rubber band. (I split the tube in half again, so it is not so wide). Wrap the tube around both glued pieces, stretching as you go, like wrapping an ace bandage on an ankle sprain. The tension from the tube will act as a clamp, holding the two pieces together.

Got some tubes from 700x25 road bike tires. I think you could save shipping $$ by finding a local cyclist or bike shop. New tubes are less than $5

I asked a bike shop to save me a few, came back a day later and they had 30 of 'em. They were upset that I only took 5. I used the two I needed and tossed the other three.
Yeah, local sourcing shouldn't be too hard.

Any bike shop that does reapirs will have piles of them.
Or you canuse latex rubber surgical tubing. You'll pay for the latter however. I get mine for free from a local bike shop.

They work great for tying stuff to your roof rack too...like staves.
