I'm new to this site, but wanted to say thanks to all of you posting.  I've built one laminated longbow, but am going to be trying all wood and some bamboo arrows.  There's a ton of great information from you all that I'll be using for the arrows I pick up this weekend.  Pretty sure mine wont look nearly as good as the ones I've seen here; suppose I can look at is as there's room to grow :).

Just wanted to introduce myself a little before I start asking questions on how to fix my dumb mistakes...

You're in the right place! Welcome and let the posts rack up. They are only dumb mistakes if you don't learn from them.

Tracy is right, they are not dumb mistakes until you are more than experienced enough to know better!

Kinda like when we are working on our 200 and somethingth bow and saw in the nocks backwards....again.   ::)
