Title: Holmegaard/ Mollegabet red oak bow-attempt

So i've been seeing holmegaards and decided to try one. I got a red oak 1x2 board . its 70" ntn. 35" at 30 inch draw length Widest is  1.5" tapering to an inch then to an 1/2". Its taken i believe an inch of set.My first attempt at this style of bow. Oh and the pics are not the clearest or best sorry. :-[

My red oak molles were failures, but looks like you did a really good job on that one.

Today I went out and shot abou 60 times and i noticed a few things. I need to retouch the nock area make it a little deeper. glue a handle. There is virtual no handshock whats so ever. It shoots the arrow about the same as my 45" bow :). Overall I'm pretty much happy with it. Can't wait to have another go at making it.
