Title: That box of flakes I was sent. . . contents question
Post by: Prarie Bowyer on April 11, 2012, 02:42:00 am
Hi,

First I should apologise.  I get real names and screen names all mixed up.  On of you guys sent me a box of flakes for bird points.  It had all sorts of stuff in it.  Two of the flakes were something really interesting.  Kind of a brownish grey on one side and a mottled pinkish lavender on the other.  What is that stuff?  I had a sweet point coming out and I broke it... then I shortened it and got in a rush and broke it again.  It's like lavender with tiny red flakes in it.  I'd like to find some more of that.

I sent you a box a while back with a bag of my points in it. As for some of the materials - could be anything. folks drop different stuff off for me at the museum all the time. coulda been some nevada jasper or some of burlington. Not too sure. pics would help.
