I've been working on some Texas rock (which works superbly!) And a little burlington. The TX rock came from Tower and Im amazed at how well it works very easy to thin and makes super sharp points. The dove tail is a piece of slab flint that wasnt heated and it still worked well.
The last pic is a stemmed point that I blew an ear off and had to redirect. Has nice color and ended up fairly thin.
