He was born about 1929. No one knows for sure. He and his sisters were raised by their grandmother for a time before the NDN agent convinced her that the kids were better off at the NDN school! They were forced apart and my grandfather survived the genocide that was happening under the guise of religion. Physical, emotional and spiritual abuses inflicted upon thousands of NDN children. He raised two families, had a successful career as a mechanic (Dr Bill) and was a worker of wood. He was a husband, father, teacher and friend. He was my grandfather! He passed away earlier this week and it is time to go home and put him to rest. Bill Richard 1929-2012. May creator keep you safe and let you be remembered with the happiness a well lived life deserves! Thank you all for your friendship and support!
