Title: info on a bow needed
Post by: seabass on April 22, 2012, 10:39:46 pm: hey guys,i have a bow that i bought used at a little mom and pop gunshop.they was selling it on consignment for someone else.it is a modern take down recuve 60" long 53@28 and says redtail birdsong with a serial number on it.has anyone ever heard of one of these?any info would be great.

Post by: osage outlaw on April 23, 2012, 09:55:40 pm: I just did a quick member search on TG and there is a member named Redtail from KY and a member named Birdsong from IN. Both are in our general area, maybe its from one of them. You might do a search on PP also.

Post by: seabass on April 23, 2012, 10:26:58 pm: thanks for the info Clint.i haven't been able to find anything.i was just curious as to where it came from.it shoots really well.maybe i'll bring it along to the classic.i am undecided if i am going to trade it or hang on to it.i kind of like it and i don't have alot of takedown recurves.i am a longbow guy.it looks like it has striped maple lams dyed with green cool aide.it is different,i'll give them that.

Post by: seabass on April 23, 2012, 10:55:46 pm: it is nice and smooth Eddie.Clint i think your info helped.i went to tradgang and looked up birdsong.his email started with redtail.i sent him an email asking if he was the guy and if so give me a little info.his profile says that he is a retiered bowyer.i'll keep you informed.
