Bevan, 2 weeks and almost 200 views an nobody yet has shown you any pics of there punch notchers. Well, I'm going to show you mine, must be every one else is using something top secret, mine are really sophiticated, a couple of 16d nails an a copper rivet, I mostly use the high class nail with a little notch file in them, Okay secret punch notchers are out in plain view. Way to go Bob! I saw a 7018 welding rod made similar to your nails @ the classic. Seemed like it worked real good. dpg

Thanks for the pics sir. That helps me a bunch. Now I have a better idea of what I need to do.
PS, If I made a point that still had it's ears, nobody would believe it was mine. :laugh:

So i built a punch from some of the copper wire I have to trade and a piece of elk antler. I am absolutely amazed how well it works.
