Title: Making recurve and reflex forms
Post by: stone_huntsman on May 23, 2012, 02:29:53 pm
This is my first post and I am new to bow making. I have been working on a hickory stave and I have it shaped out to a 65" Lakota or Holmegaard style bow and I want to recurve the tips.  I was wanting to know if any of ya'll had any information on how to make different recurve and reflex forms and what materials I would need? I would like to have a form to build a 5 curve bow and different recurve bows.

I would also like to know even just a picture with a ruler next to the form would be helpful

I am interested in making my own forms, and would like to know more about them, and if there is any advice on how to make my own :P
