This is waht BigA had to say. :) :) His name is Hunter Nash he is 11 years old. The bow is 8 year old Osage 60” tip to tip, 1and ½” wide at the fade the last 12 inches tapers to 1/4 “ at the tip. The handle section is
7 and ½ “ X 1-1/4 “ X 1” cut to center shot. Cow skin leather grip. The tips are buffalo with deer horn over them. It has one layer of sinew with diamondback rattler skins . It has about 8-9 coats of Helmans spar urethane gloss for the finish. The bow is 35 pounds at 26 inches and will be 40 #’s at 28” so it will last him a few years before he grows out of it and almost be enough to hunt with . He is only pulling about 20 pounds at 21” now.
This is the bow BigA has been helping Hunter with over the last couple of months at TwinOaks.Hunter has stayed with it pretty good and between Baseball finely got her shooting, congrat Hunter.Very nice first bow.

Way to go hunter, when I was 11 I had an old hickory bow with about 4" string follow. I killed rabbits with it so I bet yours could kill a deer.

Very well done young man! As Pappy said, you are not only the future of twin oaks, but primitive archery as a whole. By the looks of things, the future is bright! Josh
