Title: Attention Knife builders
Post by: osage outlaw on July 07, 2012, 07:06:21 pm
I got a great deal on a bucket-O-files today.  I was wondering if any knife builders would be interested in a trade for some of them.  It would probably cost quite a bit to ship them I'm guessing.  I could look into flat rate box sizes.  I could also hold them until next years Tenn. Classic if anybody wants to do that.  I haven't had a chance to go through them yet so there might be a few that I want to keep.

I am in need of a square file about 3/16-1/4" square for flute making if you happen to have one that size. Thanks.

I'll look and see.  I think I saw some small square ones in there.

Would you be interested in something out of leather?

I didn't see any square ones, but there are plenty of triangle files.  Would those work for you?

Maybe.  What did you have in mind?  I don't really have anything I'm in desperate need of right now.  I could use some fast flight or D-97 string.  Maybe a knife made from one of the files  ;)

One of the favorite things at Rendezvous are the leather canteens I make. They hold about a quart and are lined with a two part resin so you can put anything in them and wash with soap and water. They look very rustic and old-world. Equally good on a hike or to decorate the mantle. I am just finishing a batch and can send a picture in a couple of days if you are interested.
