Hey guys, have never glued tanned cowhide before, wondering how tb3 would work? Thx's 4 any input bobbyjoe!
-
contact cement is what i use most, Bub
-
I used TB3 to glue the leather pads onto my wooden vice jaw pads. It worked well for that
-
TB glue will work to glue leather. I use it for handle fillers on my selfbows. Contact cement, like bubby said, is probably the best but it depends on what you are using it for.

Yay it's to pretty up a quiver , once I bought the art sinew had to find a use for it! Thx's oo!

I use Barge contact cement. It sets up fairly quickly and you can sew through it without it clogging up the needle or what ever you are sewing with! A/Ho Joe
-
Barge Cement! Been using it for years from everything to saddle making to putting on bow handles.
-
If you can't find Barge cement you can use Weldwood contact cement(used for lamanate counter tops). Very similar and works well too.
-
I use Weldwood for all my knife sheaths. Works well and available locally.
