those are gorgeous! I know here in the Sierra Nevada we lost a lot of yew that was associated with logging sales and the discovery of Taxol the cancer fighting drug.

but there are 1000 yr old yews in state parks and national forest land in oregon
and yes, i have to admit, tho i would never take a 1000 yr old living tree, i lust for a limb or two....
