Title: PA Trade Bow, LAST CALL!
Post by: Pat B on July 28, 2012, 12:42:11 am: I would like to hear from anyone that has not sent out their trade bow. Please send me a PM letting me know who your recipient is, what is the hold up and what is your expected ETA. We have folks patiently anticipating the new arrival.
Please don't post a reply to this thread but send a PM to me with your excuse. ;)

Believe it or not, when I was out of town, my solar panels got hit by lighting.
Thus preventing me from being able to use my heat gun for necessary (minor however) alignments. Steam isnt really an option, as the bow is rawhide backed.

Ive had to start over...

Not to be telling you your business, but you can oil the area and wrap in tin foil and use a propane flame to heat for bending. I saw some guys using butter and doing this one time, it smelled like Jiffy Pop and they put in a really tight bend with no problem.
