Title: Cherry bark back question
Post by: Boudreaux on July 31, 2012, 10:39:44 pm
I have harvest some cherry bark to back my most resent bow with. My question is I hear people talk about the join so they bevel edges to they are flush. My bark is as thin as paper. Do i need to worry about this? It will take 3 pieces to do one limb.

Thanks

I just did a simple bevel cut across the ends by hand with a sharp razor knife. It only took a second and the overlap was quite smooth.
