Well Bub and I and our wives had a good day in Yosemite. Took them to an old hunters camp - covered w/ obsidian chips. Then to Westfall meadow. Glacier Point was in there too. Dinner at Cedar Lodge along the Merced river. I was the honored recipient of a Bubby Bow - Hickory with Black Walnut and Birdseye maple. We swapped a bit of rock but did not break any together. I was told that my wife looks like bub's, wife's sister. All in all it was a very good day.
Tomorrow is the Second Annual Yosemite Knap-in. So far got about 5 folks showed up today. Hopefully the rest will be in tomorrow.

it was a great time we had with ben and his wife, great people, great story's and history of the area, plus Ben plays a mean flute, played it under a small waterfall and was awesome, wish i could have made the knapp-in but my wife had to get back to work, thank's for everything buddy, Bub
plus y'all realise this guy get's payed to knapp, how great is that

Ive Got a sneakin hunch,that Ben and i at least know of each other.We know the same people,and have stomped the same ground.I bet if we saw each other,we'd say HEYA!!

@ Bub - been way too hot to be outside down here - can only imagin that it is the same up there. Got to get some straw too - my son wnats to shoot the other bows I have. Soon, I hope - this ole bear don like it too hot. Have gotten lots of compliments on it though.
