Thanks Pappy,Bowartist and JimBob I will probably use chicken liver or worms for bait, set it like a trot line and hope I catch something.
-
Also I have included the picture of a saura indian stone v shape fish weir upstream from my property.these fish weirs are quite comon and can be seen at low water on the dan smith and mayo rivers.Nets fish baskets were used in these fish dams also spearing and bow fishing.

NICE! Where I'm from, there would be catfish hangin from those at the end of the day. Deeper water of course.
Hell-of-a lot better than noodlin!!
Great job.

Thanks Ron and sadiejane when I get some work from behind me I am going to try it out.

Nice set there, buddy. You could probably practice on an ugly, barefoot creature I hear hangs out on a mountain near you. I bet he'd squall if you hooked him. ;)
-
Hey Mullet, you have got to be careful what you fish for on that mountain,it is one ugly creature up there.how would you like to see that on the end of your line.
-
Not me! Probably not fit to eat, anyway.
-
You would probaly have to cook it on plywood.
-
A tire might help. :)
