That's a real bummer about Jade :(. Looks like a real nice posse to hang with there!

Well Iv got some bad news our new pup came home with parvo :( they sed itl be 50/50 if she will make it. I don't know how they did catch the symptoms when she was at animal control before we adopted her ugh this has Been a bad year for dogs with us.
-
That is a real bummer. She is a little older that is in her favor for riding out the parvo.

She is estimated to be 4 month old so she has a 91% of not making it :( this sux . She either picked it up at the animal control or before when she was walking the streets. She has the Intestinal version of parvo I think we caught it pretty early she started throwing up real
Bad yesterday and had no signs of blood in her stool until the Dr ran a Qtip up the south end and it was bloody I hope she makes it. She is such a sweet pup I was planning to train her for hunting rabbit and tracking blood ugh

Dog's never live long enough as it is, but this case just ain't fair. Not that anything in this world is fair...
They are here to remind us what's important. Enough food, fresh water, and someone you love to scratch that spot you can't reach. Everything else is negotiable.
-
That stinks, :(wish her the best.Maybe she will pull through it. :)

The Dr called and sed she made it through the night but still not sure yet tomarrow will be the deciding factor if she can make it through then she will prolly make it
-
with a sad and heavy heart i have to say she didn't make it :'( :'( the Dr sed she had parvo before we adopted her. My wife called and talked to the adoption place and they sed they won't refund our money >:D so Amanda asked them how long they had her before they put her up for adoption they sed only a day so she asked them dont y'all have a 10 day quarentine period before they put them up for adoption they sed yes. Well in my mind they messed up they didn't even make sure to quarentine the dog first. I understand that's it's a gamble on adopting a dog but if they would have followed there own procedures this could have been avoided and my kids and pregnant wife wouldent be crying sigh… RIP banana you will be missed :'(
-
Oh man. I'm really sorry.
-
Sorry,always sad to loose a dog. :)

That's such a lousy thing, Sterling. Really sorry to read all this.
-
Sorry to hear about the Banana - My dog has been gone for a long time and I still miss him. As for the shelter where you picked her up - hmmm.... not much to say there - guess they really aren't as invested in their mission as they purport.
-
If they were really serious about their mission and the dog's health and wellbeing came first, they would have, at the very lease, allowed you the courtesy of another pick from the facility. Unfortunately, they probably adopted some rules that have now become dogma.
On the brightest side you can make of this, at least the little tyker was able to spend some time with a family that truly was glad to have him. After all, that was probably his greatest wish. You made it come true.
-
Man, really sorry to hear that! Worked in a pointer kennel and a customer exposed to parvo showed up to look at pups and lost 48/50 in the next few dAys. Feel for ya

So sorry for you - that is rough indeed. I wish you better luck with the rest of your present and future pack.
