Well I know it was going to fail with such a poor board choices I had it shot good for a few days I'm guessing with one grain runoff and 100% humidity don't mix well lol . Anyway here are the pics 40lbs @28" unbacked redoak 65-1/2 " tt crocheted handlewrap we shot it on sat for awhile and didn't take a full draw pic :( so thismornin I took it to my parents house to show my dad and take the full draw pic and boom the lower limb snapped this wasn't the best board. it's all I could get and yes I know I should have backed it but I wanted to push the limitations on how short I could get redoak unbacked
:) ohh and the limb lengths were upper 32" lower 22" lol now i know why they made yumi's so long no fear of breaking hehe I tried to make it bendy in the handle as much as I could to take the stress off the lower limb lol I think If I had no grain run off and the board was denser it would have made it :) ohh well at least I learned a lot about making a asymmetrical bow maybe next time it won't blow :)
