The set comes with 4 arrows,  3 arrows are dogwood shafts fletched with black headed gull, 1 is a privet shaft with guineafowl feathers.
All 4 shafts are tapered and grooved, groove filled with earth pigments plus hide glue, nocks are heavily tempered and reinforced with sinew wrapping as also the trade points.

Those are real pretty short bows.  I especially like the first one.  Those arrows with it are just beautiful.  Heck of a job.

WOW!   :o

x1000

The slightly flipped tips and sinew backing must make these shorties very efficient.

You are definitely not about shoddy work. Amazing - such fine lines in your workmanship all while looking very natural, like a nice museum piece.

Those are 2 of the coolest bows I've seen for a while! I appreciate the amount of work required. You need to find some ponies and buffalo, and go at it!!

unfortunately in Germany bowhunting is illegal - so no way ...
But I know a guy, who has a herd of buffaloes (about 50 or so), living near by me. I like to watch the buffalos and dreaming how great it must have been, when thousands of them were running over the plains ....

Fantastic. Awesome. Really beautiful. Rattlesnake skin? :-) The next one I will build in osage. Which material do you use for the strings? :-)

On this bows it is B50, But nowadays usually BCY 425 X
Here is my answer in your thread about FF:
I also switched from B50 to FF. In some cases, especially with lower dense wood, no good results (damaged bows). So one day I found BCY425X, and IMO this is a very good material with no creep and a bit of stretch witch is essential for primitve bows. Now I make all my strings with this material, strengthen it up at the ears with some short additional B50 leftovers. My strings are very thin, for example only 1,3 mm for a 70# bow, using2 x 6 strands.

There are allot of different FF out on the market, I'm interested what you guys are using ...

skins are diamond back

The arrows with the first bow are something to look at , but the second bow is what really catches my eye. Really caught my attention. Good job!
