I killed this little spike a couple weeks ago with a new Osage bow I built the week before. This lil guy didn't go 50yds before piling up! 45lbs Osage bow with a rivercane arrow and a 200gr ace broadhead.
This is my fourth deer for the year, two with self bows and two with my ol fiberglass longbow. It sure has been an AWESOME year in the woods :)

Another nice one Will, it has been a good season for you indeed. Pretty cool to harvest a deer with a bow you just made during the season. Enjoy the venison :)

Very good! I still haven't had a shot. I guess it's gonna be one of those years.

Good job Will. When I make it out to the Classic, I'm gonna have to bring some trade goods so I can trade you out of a good deer story or two. No luck at all on the East end of the territory.

Congrats Will. Good eating there..

Good looking buck. That's great when you don't have to track far. Were you using the Ace Super Express head?

Congratulations! I think a little spike like that one eats better than anything else in the woods. Good shooting.
