(http://i1163.photobucket.com/albums/q556/longbow60/dscn0297.jpg)Osage sinew, 55" drawn to just shy of 28". Top limb as you can see ended up with a good bit of reflex as compared to the bottom. Would you tweek this anymore?(http://i1163.photobucket.com/albums/q556/longbow60/osage%20sinew/101_2010.jpg)

i think the tiller looks pretty darn good i'd leave it the way it is
-
Full draw is where you check tiller anyway and you nailed it. That is a very sweet bow!!! 8)
-
Tiller is perfect, job well done.
-
I was close to being comfortable with the tiller on this, but not having worked with such deflex reflex before it was hard getting used to the flatter looking top limb. Thanks for the conformation.
-
Sometimes I hear last 3rd. not bending, mid limb not bending etc.......etc......
Correct me if I'm wrong but Yes the tiller looks fantastic, but the last 3rd. at the tips is not bending one Iota.. ???
-
Looks great, I would be afraid of screwing something up if I were to tweek it any more.

If you compare the unstrung pic to the full draw pic it looks to me like the limbs are bending all the way out to the recurves. I would call it done or else you will nit pick till its too light.
-
i think that mid limb on top is a little stiff, maybe why it ended up with more deflex, i'd leave it like it is , look's like she'll hunt, Bub
-
Looks good to Me, get out and shoot the BEGEEZES out of Her and have fun ;) !

The deflex and reflex was in before I started tillering. The stave was shaped funny to begin with and it didnt completely straigten out when recurving, and I was ok with that. So far it hasnt taken any unwanted set that I can see, and I do think there is some bending occuring right up to the recurves. I am going to shoot it in and put a nice water snake skin I have on it. Thanks, Bob.

I'll start by saying I probably am not the guy to take tiller advice from but to me it looks like the top limb is doing most of it's bending right out of the fade. Please don't make adjustment from my observations. Does anyone else view it that way also? I struggle with
tillering a bow so it's post like this that help learn. Could it have taken some set there from the top limb being to stiff? Just throwing
this out to learn more myself. Fine looking bow rps3.

Looks darn good to me.

I think it is too hard to tell from photos when you are that close to spot on tiller. That said, that area on upper limb, mid-limb right about where your lightswitch cover plate almost touches the bow looks a touch stiff. It might like fine viewed from the other side. How does it feel in the hand?
-
Looks good to me.
-
That tiller looks pretty good to me. Photos don't tell the whole story. I would shoot it and see how it goes. If it stings the hand, I might take a few scrapes at that upper limb, like was suggested. Looks like a shooter to me. Good job.

Looks good to me. :)

It came in just over 50# at 28". 55" bow and it is holding its shape very well when unbraced after 100's of arrows. It is picky about arrows though, but once I figured the right length and spine it was banging nocks in the target.
-
Looks killer! I like the looks of that bow from every angle, what type of skins are those on the back?
Greg
-
Awesome!
-
Thanks, and the skin is a water snake from a freinds pond.
-
Dude those nocks and string grooves are sweet.
-
That is a killer!
-
Tiller looks spot on! Great looking D/R bow.
-
Great work man! out of curiosity, are your limbs different lengths? Top looks longer?
ok, I think I see what you did. Your arrow rest is dead center, and you put the handle grip below dead center, which makes the upper limb seem longer.
-
thats a very nice bow. well done.
-
That is what I did sleek. Not sure if my reasoning is flawed or not, but knowing I wanted a full 28" draw out of this bow, I figured it would spread the stress out better on the limbs this way.
-
nice money shot, almost has a angular look at brace but not at draw sweet looker, Bub
-
Turned out nice for ya, so no complaints from this department...
