Now that I see it in print it sounds kinda corny :-[ Anyways here it is. Yeller wood with a little wiggle and some WDB skins. I had been waiting for three years for this stave to cure. I couldn't take it any longer. 52" and 65# @ 27" draw. Need to put some type of handle wrap on but I'm in no rush as I want it to be "just right". Maybe yella or gold leather. Thanks fer lookin'.

-
I guess it's OK. ;)
-
That thing is wicked. I love it.
-
great bend on that little ambush bow, Bub
-
Sweeeeet little bush bow! at 65# it atta be more than effective. These little bows are so fun to make and shoot, and are more than effective!
-
Thats one sweet snake and sage bow Jon, has just the right amount of character in it. Hard to say for sure since I've liked all your bows but this one may be my favorite. How you get such smooth bends out of these short and heavy draw bows is beyond me.
I agree you should wait for the perfect leather to wrap the handle, gold colored for contrast against the skins sounds good.
Great work again Jon!

Great bow yoiu got there!!! If you ever get tired of it, I might be able to find a home for it. :)
-
Thanks to all of you fellas. That piece of wood has been on my mind for some time and I just had to release her into what she is supposed to be. I suppose I could have thinned the tips and reflexed it to gain a few more fps. Oh and I'm sure the front profile doesn't match the tiller. I'll try harder next time............ ;D
-
That there is a thing from my dreams. Love everything about it. Great job.

-
Beautiful bow. Super job on the tiller too.
-
I like it.. ...... ;D looks like a snake crawlingvin the leaves dont put it down you might not find it
-
I love it Jon. I like short heavy bows, and you nailed that one. It seems too easy to make the limbs overly wide on such a bow, but you sure didn't do that. Looks to be about as efficient a bow as could be.
-
Nothing corny about that bow! I love it!
As for the handle... I'm not sure it needs it. Dead nuts tiller! Good job, on that little piece a hedge!

I just finished a shorty that I am a little disappointed in, seeing yours makes me even more disappointed. Very nice.
-
Love that style, and you pulled off heavy draw weight with no set. Excellent work!
