Title: electric range for heattreating
Post by: Lee Lobbestael on January 03, 2013, 10:47:26 pm
Tonight I used my electric range to heat treat a hickory bow i'm working on. It seems to do a more even job than a heat gun and is a lot quieter. You guys ever tried this? It seems to do the job just fine

My wife is Italian/Irish and has the temper of both sides wrapped all in one, so I'll just use my heat gun in the bow shop. LOL
