Title: newbie here in the house!!!!!!

im new to bow making and was wodering what tillering was. can you give me a brief explantion and possibley some pitures. ??? ;D

Tillering is the process of making the bows limbs bend evenly, by removing material from the belly or sides of the limb where it is to stiff.  ;)
Do yourself a favor and pick up the three volumes of the bowyers bible it will explain this better and much, much, more.

At first you can get by with just vol. one of the TBB.     I got mine off amazon.com for 10.00
