hi there i have a friend who is a farrier and recently he has been keeping his old rasps for me, he goes through 1 a week as he needs them razor sharp, but there is loads of life left in them and they rip through wood. they have a rough side and a smoother side. these are expensive rasps, if you look them up (save edge usa). i have 6 of these at the moment as im keeping 2 for myself but there will be more to come. i am mainly looking for bow staves that i can work on now but am open to different offers, i am in the uk so it would probably be better trading with other uk members but if postage isnt to much i would trade with people abroad. if you are interested send me a pm and we could sort a deal out. thanks danny.
note they do have some bits of rust on them as they are used but they are still very good rasps.

Those are what I use. My brother does a little shoeing, mostly his own horses and I steal his rasps. lol. They work great for hogging off wood.
