Title: cookie bow
Post by: bubby on January 14, 2013, 06:57:33 pm
here's another "cookie cutter" bow, just a hard maple plainsawn board, this is for a give away at my in-law's rendezvous foe the jr shooter so it's only 40# at 29", stained it with dark oak, then hit the tips and middle with some black leather dye, sanded some off and then did the entire bow with rit dark brown, finished with spray poly, just a regular ol' hard hittin' run of the mill cookie cutter bow ::), hope ya like it, bub(http://i623.photobucket.com/albums/tt320/bubncheryl/103_4063.jpg)

Looks nice. I hope my tillering gets as good as yours soon. I'm getting there, it just seems that my top limb always turns out to be quite a bit weaker, Not overly though..!

101, you have to go slow, use that gizmo to get to brace, on a board you can use it longer than that if ya want, Bub
