much snow and ice outside here - not the best background for a west coast style, so I decided to take the pics inside with help from my son Andy (Thanks!).
Here is the bow:
elm 53#/26"
ntn 49"
bending handle, buckskin wrapping
painted with natural pigments
two layers sinew, wrapped at handle and below tips (red )
w/d:
handle: 32/18 mm
fade (3"): 48/14 mm
midlimb: 50/11 mm
below string kerf: 18/8 mm
enjoy

It is made from a stave (large trunk), worked down to heartwood ring

Cool bow!
-
Looks great! What is your impression on how it shoots?
This little bow is very fast, definitely one of my best bows, amount of added weight in the first 10 inches higher than in following - resulting in a smooth draw

If I were a west coast large fauna around 3 or 4 hundred years ago, it would have been an honor to be hunted and shot by such an incredible bow!

That is a real beauty! Love the progressive bend photos.
Gives me something to work towards on my little sinew project but I don't think I'll make that fine of a tiller.
Nice art work on there too!

I must have missed this one when it was originally posted. What a great bow! The West Coast style is definitely my favorite and you nailed it. Love the paint, tiller, profile.

As everyone else I loved the bow. Brace looks low any issues with wrist slap.
