Here's some shoots I cut while scouting this past week.
Dog woods 27,28 and 30 inch, cherry and a couple red osier at the top. It dos'ntgrow naturally here. I cut those from around a DOC. office parking lot.(http://)

Isnt it great seeing all those shafts in your floor! Lol Can you take some pics of the dogwood as it grows and close ups of the bark and the shoots/branches your cutting? I know there has to be some all over here in eastern VA.

Nice! 8) So you cut them form around the parking lot of the DOC? Isn't that a good way to become a ......resident? :o ;D ;D

CHERKOKEE around here they grow in all hard woods and popular woods. I'm down off the mountains in the far west SHENANDOAH VALLEY in WV. right at the POTOMAC RIVER with MD across the river. I'll take a couple pic's. my next trip this week in.
