Title: Gift Bow
Post by: DQ on February 21, 2013, 10:33:14 am
The guys on PA are just the best!

At Martyjam, a couple of weeks ago, I admired a nice little Osage selfbow that Misslemaster was shooting.  A couple of days ago, PEARLY stopped over to talk bows and handed me a bow Case...from Cody.  Inside was that beautiful little Osage selfbow.  Cody had given it to me!  I was in shock!

You know guys, the best gift you could ever receive is the gift you never expected and really didn't deserve, but someone was kind enough to give it to you anyway.

Thanks for a great gift, Cody.

Nice. Very nice. I like surprises like that, only problem is I'm usually the one giving the surprises, lol. The tips and handle treatment are really beautiful. Congrats to you and compliments to Cody for making it and PD for not shang-hi  ing it.   Danny

Yeah 5 hours is about how far away I am from a lot of the bow guys in Oregon that get together once in a while. Guess I'll have to go hang with my bros in Ore (and there's a few of them there), since there doesn't seem to be many bow guys in the Seattle area.
