My brother has been after a bow for a while but wanted something that was light so he could get form together before he moved up a bit. Know he is serious about learning to shoot when he wants form before he goes up in weight. Its about late 30`s maybe 40 @ 28 yew sapling with a dyed veg tan grip.
Lots of lumps and bumps in this so was hard to keep it light without removing too much from the knotty bits. Its a pretty bit of wood. Tiller also looks a bit bonkers but feels right in the hand. Still sends an arrow very flat.

Great tiller :).
Really clean lines, that kink at the grip looks like you've got it really ergonomic.

Feels quite ergo in the hand. Its a joy to shoot being so light. Can hear my back thanking me rather than complaining.

I did mate, it was a little stragller and the smaller half of the last character bow I made.

Cheers mate, still walkling that pear stave around the workshop everyday whilst talking to it and threatening it with sharp eges.
