Title: The real deal
Post by: iowabow on May 20, 2013, 01:27:34 am
Had a friend of mine that found a camp site on a disturbed surface. He ask me if I would take a look at the site with him. We found hundreds of artifacts scattered on the surface. Mostly flakes and turtle backs and bifaced pieces. We also found a broken point and a couple preformed peices. The timing could not be better. It is a great resource to have some of the real deal. The thinnest one is 5:1. The platforms are really cool to look at. What makes this even more interesting is that it is the same high quality stuff that I am working but from a quarry miles away. And sorry guys the quarry is at the bottom of his lake. I was very bummed.
