Title: Sea shell points

Just curious if anyone has made sea shells into arrow heads.  If you have, post pics  I'd love to see them.

Native americans did.. I am going to beach this summer and want to try.

The pic looks like the shells were for necklace or something like that with the holes drilled in them.  But yes they are "shells" lol just not shell points.  They were probably used as scrapers.  At 4 inches long that is a bit much for arrowhead.

Native peoples here traded seashells predominantly for value as an adornment.

I just went to a meusam website and searched it.
I know the west coast indians made actual arrowheads from shells, by grinding them with abrasive rocks.
