This is my first Southeastern 2 fletch. It looks great and shoots like a dream. I like being able to use the tail feathers...nice colors

Wow. Real sharp looking.
-
2 split feathers works the same in my experiance. It also saves on fletch bigtime.
-
what kind of feathers are those? Such great coloring.

Turkey tail feathers. I have some too. They are pretty soft.
-

I am insanely harsh on arrows... but even by normal standards those feathers are soft.
-
I like the arrow and using tail feathers, Lyle. I need to make up some more two fletch arrows and put the Bitzinburger away.
-
Looks good.
-
Really like those fletchings................cool looking point also is it bone?
-
The point is bone...sinew wrapped nock, feathers and point, then black leather dye on the sinew.
The tail feathers are softer than wings, but I will practice with a couple and use some exclusively for hunting.

Nice work raghorn. I get excited just thinking about watching that arrow fly!
-
Those are some of the prettiest arrows I've ever seen. Absolutely love them.
-
I thought I'd give this style a try last year. I will never fletch another way now. Mine fly better than any 3 fletch I have, they're quieter, and better looking IMO.
-
Those are some great looking arrows. I've only done a handful using tail feathers (Mine don't look as good as yours), but with wing feathers the 2 fletch arrows I've made fly as good as any of my other arrows.
-
very nice looking arrows
i may hafta give that a try myself

Good job ! Never tried that style.

Very nice work there! I gotta get off my --- and make some arrows. Thanks for the post.

Two fletch is the way to go for me. The economy of it appeals to me. I can fletch more arrows with fewer feathers, so it is a no brainer for a cheap skate like me. I can't tell the difference in the accuracy, but then I don't shoot much further than twenty yards. Those are great looking arrows. Turkey tail feathers are beautiful.
