Stunning bows, and great shooting!  Are you planning on heading over to the UK at some point?  I've still not met anybody from the EWBS yet, but if there's gonna be a get-together over here at some point it seems like the perfect opportunity!

Nice looking kit, Jake. All a bit heavy for me... my limit seems to be about 100#s.

Great looking bows, Jake.  Seems to be a wide variety in bracing?

Looks like a great time Jake!!!! Nice looking bows and equipment!!! Ian's 'Arm' brought back some bitter sweet memories, hah. I had a nock break upon loose, it kicked the string over and picked up a part of my forearm and folded it over a tightly laced arm guard, the result was about the angriest looking thing a man could sport and declare it as a part of his own body. An area about the size of my palm was a beautiful shade of very dark red, the center of which was protruding to the extent of about half a golf ball, a very dark purple, topped with a pulsing blood vessel of some sort. It was a thing to behold.
Of all the things I have loved and enjoyed in nearly sixty years in this sport, the English Warbow is still the one that tickles that archery part of me the most. Thank you for showing your goods!!!!

Thanks everyone! I do apologize for how late this response is, just got back from a canoe camping trip in the bush!

Really glad you all enjoyed it, it was really good fun to make, Ian's arm has made pretty much a full recovery, only putting him off for merely a few days, in fact the incident occurred before the rest of the video was filmed!

Great looking bows, Jake.  Seems to be a wide variety in bracing?

Nope all braces were between 5 1/2 and 6" however the little mound may make the picture look odd.

Sure are! I will be in Europe from Aug. 10 until September 20th at which point onwards I will be in the UK!

Robby your injury's description bares an uncanny likeness to Ian's here as the picture does not do it justice, but I am surprised how rapidly it healed, it should be said he shrugged it off immediately, was shooting by the end of the weekend.

Thanks again everyone!

-Jake

Great pics Jake and I loved the video.
Are you coming to the Traditional shoot at Hawkeye with Gerry Lee next month?
See you there.
