I just finished my second bow. It is another Powhatan NA style bow, this one is made of hickory. I learned from my last one and thinned the tips quite a bit, it shots way faster, and with allot less hand shock. I just love the simplicity of these bows. I don't have any good pictures right now, i will post them soon.

Alright, I have the pictures! this bow has a lot more power than the first one as well, I'm guessing somewhere between 60 and 65 pounds. the bow is 69 inches long. The last pic' is design I was going for :)

I live by the Powhatan reservation in N.J. and made a few of these for the chief and various members of his family. All I can say is..... Good Job!!!!! :) Now you just need to decorate, (If you want to,) and you're ready to stalk around the woods or go to war!! >:D

Thanks warpath, what wood did you use? I have used hick' and elm so far, both work great. You can definitely tell that the hickory is allot harder wood though.
