Title: Is this type of Acacia a good bow wood?

Was wondering if the Australian Acacia (Acacia melanoxylon) is a good bow wood because there are plenty in my area :)

If it's what I think it is, marblewood is another name for it. I have a laminated bow made out of it that i bought from a custom bowyer. I might be wrong though.

I made a bow from it many years ago. It likes  wide flat limbs, I got a few chrysals with 1&3/4" wide but it was one of the earliest bows I ever made. Try 2-2&1/4" wide until mid limb for a 50lb bow.
