Just finished this sheaf of EWBS Liverys and Standard battle shafts
8 Liverys with heads made by a very talented Slovakian guy (thanks Ian!) 31.5" Poplar shafts, tapered from 1/2" to 3/8", buffalo horn inserts, 7 3/8" turkey fletchings and whipped at 1/4" with red silk.

Very nice work, Will! Now you need to get the ends dirty!!

Cheers Robby, appreciate it!
Thanks Adam, I agree! Far too clean looking! Nowhere to shoot at the moment unfortunately, bit at least it gives me time to finish my warbow. Never thought it would be so hard to convince land owners in the UK to shoot in their fields!

i'm such a sucker for for those tudor heads! i truly love the EWBS arrows but i'd love to see some ones made outside of their very specific specs. maybe some heavy bamboo shafts (i know i know 'English Warbow' but come on were not limited like people used to be), some tiny quad fletch or even some barrel tapered shafts maybe even some interesting footing!
I'm personally trying my hand at footing some heavy shafts with oak and birch and poplar and mixed results but when i get it down i'll for sure post some pics!
