Title: Shipping arrows
Post by: Scottski on August 20, 2013, 09:34:39 pm
Have a question. What is the best way to ship my trade arrow? I don't want someone to open a broken arrow.

I used 2" pvc conduit pipe myself. Get a couple end caps and duct tape them on for easy removal. 1 1/2" would have worked just fine, but already had some on hand. Use a little foam for padding on each end. Be sure to ship Priority Mail, you automatically get a tracking number. Just a thought, but if you wait long enough I bet someone will send you a mailing tube ;D! Art B

I do like Art does with PVC tube.
Art, all mail can be tracked now. It has just started in the last year or so. I still mail Priority for quicker delivery and fewer hands touching the package.

We have piles of heavy cardboard 36" paper tubes here at work. I use them to ship arrows/shafts in.
