Title: my trade arrow

Finished it up last night, and will ship today, or maybe monday. It's river cane, mallard duck feathers , and a 123 grain bone arrowhead. Would like some input before I ship it off. Seems to fly great from my bow. Being the former tattoo artist I am, The bone arrowhead got a little tattoo. I can't show you that though, it'll wreck the surprise of who's getting it. ;) Thanks for lookin.

Pretty cool, never seen mallard feather fletching before, goes great with the white bone head.

There is a Sioux arrow in the collection of the Museum of the Fur Trade with a mallard secondary wing feather with that wonderful iridescent blue.  The same arrow also has a northern flicker tailfeather as the second of three fletchings.  Not sure what the third feather is, but I believe it may be Canada goose.

But back to the subject at hand...TatDave, that is a gorgeous arrow.  I am dang sorry I did not get in on this trade.

Very nice ! I've not used the secondaries, but use a lot of primaries from ducks I harvest and love the way they shoot. Someone will be thrilled to see that at their door step!

Here's Daves awsome artwork. I had every intension of hunting with the arrow i recieved...............but now i dont know if i want to damage the artwork by shooting it.
