I live by a farm where they raise and butcher buffalo, I can get horns for 20-30$ a pair. Is that a good price? He's also going to ask his butcher about sinew. Is buffalo sooner usable for backing a and such?

Yeppers on both questions.Stock pile the stuff up.The overrun you get will trade easily.

I've never seen or tried back leg tendons from buffalos. Are they like moose or not so.You might have to either explain or go in the butcher shop and do it yourself for the backstraps.

That's too much for horns. If you just want the tips for overlays, you can get water buffalo solid tips on e-bay for a lot less. 15 pcs for $30 free shipping. They are solid 5-7" pieces. I got them and they are very nice and every one of them is usable. In fact, each piece will yield 2 or 3 bow tips. Just go to the site and do a search for buffalo horn tips.
