This was a bow just to pretty to die.Originally osage hickory backed with a cherrybark outer shell made by someone here.
After many years of hard use the bottom limb blew.I have Z spliced a hickory limb to her,reinforced the bottom with a piece of ironwood and will add a hickory backing to the back .
The top limb had a little problem that a sinew wrap curred - wish this bow luck !

She use to be a real sweet shooting bow Pat.
Hopefully I will make a bow out of it again to show later.This is my second try,I first tried just the Z splice but not being in the meat of the handle the glue joint didn't hold.By adding wood to the bottom and a new hickory backing on the top of the splice it may hold.Then all I have to do is tiller and pray (LOL).
Good name Bob . It will never be the bow it once was Ryan.
