Nicely done! Gotta love yew. Good tiller... it's definitely a bendy handle bow. Do you find it hard to brace your bow with the tip overlays like that?

Thanks guys!adb...no not really I use a commercial bow stringer though.Other specs on the bow 1/2 tips tapering out to 1 3/8 at the handle.Cannot decide on a wrap so for now its as is.taken a little set over a 100 shots or so but it's up there on my list of favorites-Hammertime

Nice bow! Don't you just love working with yew! Yew has become my favorite bow wood, and I never worked a piece till June! I'm on fifth now and have staves for several more on the drying rack .I'm fortunate to live here in the Pacific Northwest where it grows in relatve abundance. To bad for you poor guys who only that yellow stuff to work with!  >:D

Thanks everyone!Yeah I just love the contrast of the heartwood/sapwood,and its easier to work than the elm and hickory I am used to.Guess I'm a little jealous of you west coast fellas-Hammertime
