a friend of mine gave me a bamboo shaft to try out and im really impressed with it. its marked "tiger wood" on the shaft. a google search yielded nothing but golf, so i don't know if they are even in business anymore. is anyone familiar with the name, or can anyone recommend another source for good, reasonably priced bamboo shafts? really want to try a dozen.

tiger wood is a Chinese guy selling on ebay. You can also buy Tonkin shafts from The Bamboo Supply in Lakeland, Fl.

I get mine from John Fredenberg out of Kalispel. He goes by "John Fletch" on TG.

I traded here at PA for most of my supplies Eric.
You should make up a few of these boo arrows yourself to really appreciate the labor involved.
Ebay prices are pretty cheap so even if they weren't up to snuff you wouldn't be out that much. Judging from experience, some of the arrows looked pretty good. And nice and straight..........Art

I got some boo shafts from a guy (Barefoot Traditions) in Iowa, at the Classic this year that I really liked, they were a little pricey but they were very straight and very good quality.
