Title: Kels Elms
Post by: Archeress on October 31, 2013, 09:00:35 am
Had a friend in Geelong , west of melbourne make me a couple of elms.  A 75 at 30 inch... and an 85 at 31 inch.  the back side is knotty..i love them.  Lovely to shoot.  Height wise they are 210 and 211 cm respectively.

Saw your video and read some of your warbow posts.  Very cool stuff.  Looking forward to seeing more from you.

Stunning bows.  Real gnarly traditional weapons, those.  No frills, just power and punch I would imagine!

You need to get making some bows Kel ;-)

thanks all..i shall endeavour to get some vid.  i have been shooting them in today..amazed at how these elms have no bow arm shock at all.  some heavier bows do..not these..sweet draw and release.
