Title: R/D BBO #2
Post by: tom sawyer on December 10, 2007, 09:47:11 pm
This is the second BBO I've been working on.  This one is 65" tip/tip, the lower limb is an inch shorter than the upper.  50lb@28".  I didn't dye this one, just finished it with tung oil.  The handle is a lam of hickory and then a red elm handle piece.  Everything was glued with resorcinol.  The handle is green leather laced with linen, and it has a small wedge of wood for an arrow rest.

I like it a lot.  The natural stain appeals to me ;) And bookmarked for Dec Backed BOM, too.

This is my favorite of the three.
