Good lookin' arrows. What kind od horn are the points made from? I like 'em. Don't let Mechslasher see those purple arrows or he'll steal them.  :)

Thanks Steve , They are cow horn. I admit I copied a point I got from a kyudo supplier. The nocks are from horn nocks from 3 Rivers.
The arrows are for the aith over on pp, so I posted them there first.
I think I like the horn points myself ,and a good use for horn tips.

Very nice arrows. Did the mottling of the berry dye happen on purpose or was that just how the cane took the stain. Either way it looks great.  Do beware of Cade with purple arrows! ;D  Pat

Thanks guys , never expected this many responses.  ;D
Pat ,it was on purpose .

I put a clump of berries in one hand (wear a latex glove) just cut it off the plant, twigs and all. Then holding the shaft in the other hand , I close my fist full of berries around the shaft .Then twist the shaft back and forth as I push it through my fist.
