Title: Youth Osage bow, arrows, and deer skin quiver

This is an Osage Orange self bow, dogwood arrows, and a deer skin quiver that I made for my son for Christmas. The bow is 36" overall, and pulls 10-15 pounds at 12-15 inches. The poundage and draw length is an estimate, as I never measured either. My son is only 7 years old, so specifications didn't really matter at this point. Getting him interested in archery, and outside shooting with me is what I was going for.

 I can tell that you love your Son very much...You put a lot of time and care into that archery set. Even more important is that you want him involved with you. Merry Christmas to your family and welcome aboard PA.

Now that's the kind of gifts we should be giving our children. Heck, my son will be 37 yrs old tomorrow and he still wants these bows and arrows ;D. So gear up for the future. Good on you Dad..........Art

That is awesome work. He should be grinning from ear to ear! I made some for my kids and at these weights it surprised me how hard they shot the little suction cup arrows (I gotta get off my butt and make some arrows)

I agree. It is very surprising just how hard, fast, and accurate this little thing shoots. Once again guys thank you for all of the comments. What a great and supportive group of guys.
