Here's an Osage bow I finished up a few days ago been shooting it like crazy. This bow was made from a stave I got from Osage outlaw hope ya like what came from it. About 52 pounds at 25 inchs I only draw alittle over that 65 1/2 inchs long. Shoots better then any bow I've ever made for sure I absolutely love it. I've easily already put 350+ arrows through it. Anyway some pics are from yesterday and some from today sorry for the horrible quality I only have an iPod to take pics.

Nice looking bow.
-
Looks very nice! Just curious, is the brace height really high on this bow?

The brace height is 6 1/4 Inchs and shoots perfect at that so i like it right there, thanks

Great job! That's a fine looking osage bow.
-
Nice work that's a good looking piece of hedge apple
-
Looks good Joe, also looks like you have a great place to stump shoot out back.
-
Thats a bow to be proud of!
-
you did that piece of osage justice Joe, came out real nice, Bub
-
Looks good! Well done!
A suggestion, hope you don't mind:
You could get much more speed:
>lower the brace height to max 5"
>make a new string from BCY 452X, take 2x3 strands (that's enough), strengthen it at the ears with 2 pieces of B50 about 6 " long
>don't use silencers, when not hunting bow
>don't use 4 feather fletching, when not hunting bow
-
Your workmanship is improving...looks like a shooter to me :)
-
Looks good to me, I agree on the high brace ,but if you like I like it. ;)

Looks nice. Lots of sweet bows coming from Clint's staves lately.
-
Nice bow Joe. My similar bow is braced right around 6 1/4" as well.
-
Good job Joe. If you're tickled then it's a success.
-
Looks good. I brace on the high side apparently also. I couldn't even begin to shoot a bow braced at 5"
-
Nicely done young feller! Nothing wrong with your brace height.
-
Nice looking bow Joe!
-
Great job. Looks like a fun one to shoot.

The short feathers must be skewing the pic. I use about 6" brace as well. Looks real good! with that riser you will likely find it very forgiving for a wider range of spine. You could also use a lot less fletch and get the speed up without affecting your accuracy. But the bow looks great and the rest is just tweeking.
