I made this about 5-6 years ago. BL selfbow. My favorite bow. last year I heard a little creaking sound and found a fracture about to let loose on a tiny little pin knot on the back. I superglued a thin sliver of hickory over it, sanded it down and served with silk thread and its as good as new. I'll put up a pic of the repair area.

I often think to myself, "That osage looks an awful lot like black locust." They're both great looking wood in very similar ways at first glace, but one glows under certain lights and the other turns things yellow ;)
